The 2024 Choice Manual

Choice is a great way to feature your best route runner in a 1 on 1. It gives him the ability to catch the ball quickly and on the run. Teams that invest in Choice can have a ton of success with it, at the NFL, College, or High School level.

In 2024, The Shanahan/McVay tree of coaches expanded their capabilities with the Choice concept. There were many unique variations that I found in the 2024 game planning books that gave me the idea to group them all together in this manual.

Lookie examples are included in this book as well. Lookie is a quicker-hitting version of Choice. The three-way option is still the main theme.

The Buccaneers and Vikings sections explain some of the basic theory behind the concept as well as the early install variations. Those sections were part of the 2024 manuals, so they follow that format.

The sections covering the Broncos, 49ers, Rams, Packers, and Dolphins follow the game planning format. These highlight specific variations that caught my attention that necessitated discussion.
